About Dan Marshall

As a native of San Francisco, I possess a rather different perspective of our city and have seen it go through a metamorphosis. I attended high school and college, became an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts here in San Francisco, and with the exception of a few years, lived my entire life in San Francisco Bay Area.

My professional life is varied and has contributed to my success in real estate. It consists of several years in retail, restaurant ownership, and also co-owning a real estate company - all within our beautiful city.

As a real estate investor of nearly thirty years, I have hands-on experience from both sides of the "real estate table." I have found that patience, honesty, professionalism, and the ability to know when to shut up and listen have paid off in many ways. As an experienced negotiator in this career of mine, I have found that the art of listening is one that is developed through experience and is in short supply in this business.

I have recently earned the Corporate Mobility Specialist certification. This is a professional designation awarded through GMAC Real Estate and GMAC Global Relocation Services. This ongoing educational course has added to my expertise and has given me the tools to offer comprehensive and complete assistance to clients relocating from or moving to the San Francisco Bay Area.
